Devil Woman Build Album

| The 46 Ford as she looked when we got her, bathed in the light of day |
| The coupe as she looked when I bought her. # 24 from Sioux City. Freshly washed, she looks shiny in the garage. |
| The interior, much of the floor boards had to be removed and replaced. |
| In the Backyard Racing shop at last. Ready for some real work. |
| A "mock-up" 327 Chevy engine was used to locate the motor mounts. She had a six in her before, so we were starting from scratch here. |
| The "real" 327, ready to go in her. |
| The engine installed with headers. She just needed a carb, a distributor and some wires. |
| Freshly painted, tires and wheels installed, waiting for lettering and the graphic. |
| Lettered and numbered with the double-zero. |
| The infamous "Devil Woman" painted by a local artist. Listen...she's talking to you! |
| Racing at US 30 Speedway in Columbus, Ne. First night out with the car. She was fast but had fuel problems and did not finish. |
| 2nd time out was at Webster City, Iowa for the vintage reunion. She worked her way up to 4th but a power steering failure and my fatigue dropped her to 8th. |
| 3rd time out (season finale) at US 30 Speedway. She won her heat and the Abe Lincoln Memorial trophy dash. A flat tire kept her from the feature. |
| The fruits of our labor. |

Tracy's car 89 build
| Tracy's coupe before painting, note the fabricated trunk. The trunk and reinforcement were sold before Tracy could buy the coupe. |
| Another view before painting. |
| Painting has began. Looks better already! |
| It's mostly white! |
| With numbers, a race car is born! This one had a stout little 283 Chevy in her. |
| At the track in Beatrice, Ne. Dad is in the 89 car and Dan is in the #1 car. The 89 car handled real well, the auto trans didn't work right though. The car is for sale minus motor and trans. Tracy blew up the 283. |
