Carroll and his wife Charlene live in Columbus, Nebraska. Carroll has been a member of the steering committee since it's inception and is a strong advocate for vintage racing.

Carroll purchased this 1940 Ford coupe from Don Ostendorf, who raced the car in the 1950's on the Nebraska NASCAR circuit.  It is now powered by a Chevy 327.

The car is very fast and Carroll, a long time racecar driver knows the fast way around the track.  Carroll is always a top finisher in GOTRA races.
